“These literary meetings are not a festival, ever since their first edition they have grown into a completely new and large-scale format that develops throughout the year. Each edition includes the participation of Bulgarian and foreign poets and writers. This year, for the first Literary Meetings, the winner of the 2018 Nobel Prize for Literature – the Polish writer Olga Tokarczuk – arrived in Bulgaria.
