“Sounding: Europe” (7-10 May 2025) was the third event of the SIRIUS4all programme, diving deep into the conversation about about Europe’s future through art, music, dialogue, and collaborative exploration. It was run as a 2-day exploration lab where innovation, culture, and the future of Europe come together through the power of sound and creativity.
The event kicked off with a session introducing the “Sounding:EUROPE” Award, where diverse participants shared their insights, creations, and visions for Europe’s future and composed their own music on it. A jury of 4 people selected the winners, whose pieces could be listened here.
A group of students presented their qualitative research on the evolving narrative of Europe. The research explored key cultural, political, and social themes that shape Europe’s future and how sound, as a medium, can capture the essence of these changes.
More about the spirit of the event could be seen here.
This event is part of the broader SIRIUS4all concept, which continues to champion interdisciplinary collaboration between artists, and cultural professionals. Together, they are exploring new ways to understand Europe—one that embraces its diverse cultures, histories, and perspectives.
SIRIUS4all is supported by the European Union and the National Culture Fund, Bulgaria.
