Between June 13 and 17, Sofia hosted the first event of the SIRIUS4all project — an initiative that launches a two-year program of meetings, artistic actions, and discussions between artists and cultural managers, all dedicated to shaping a “next narrative for Europe.”

Under the title “What’s next” / “MultiFramed: Sofia”, the event explored how the image of Europe is represented in the context of Eastern Europe — historically, culturally, and visually. Topics included the reflection of European identity in urban spaces, street art, graffiti, literature, theatre, and even culinary culture.

The official launch of the project took place on June 12 with the opening of the exhibition “Things that bother me on a daily basis” by visual artist Veneta Rangelova, hosted at UniCredit Studio.

Upcoming events will be held in Copenhagen, Berlin, Perugia, and Lisbon, where partners from SABAA (Berlin), CKI (Center for Cultural Initiatives, Copenhagen), Luoghi Comuni (Perugia), and Mapa das Ideias (Lisbon) will aim new perspectives on Europe through both artistic and analytical approaches. Each city will host gatherings focused on creating a platform for dialogue, research, and collaborative work.

All results will be collected and presented in a 3D online gallery, which will operate for five years. This digital space will serve both as an archive and exhibition platform, as well as a tool for increasing international visibility and creating new artistic connections for participating creators.
